STATE-RELIGIOUS RELATIONS IN THE MODERN NETHERLANDS

In the article, the author focused on highlighting the following main aspects of the researched topic. First: due to the weak study of the religious history of the Netherlands and the contemporary religious situation in Ukrainian historical and religious science, it is urgent to acquaint Ukrainian scientists with the developments of Western scientists, primarily Dutch ones. Second: on the basis of legislative material and scientific research, highlight the peculiarities of state-religious relations in the Netherlands. Third: to analyse the two main features of the religious life of the modern Netherlands, which are related to the religious policy of the state, namely: “pillarization” (“pillarization”) and secularization. At the end of the article, summaries and conclusions are drawn.
