Abstract

In Simferopol, the names of the streets appeared rather late. In 1837 the Tavrian governor was given an order on the name of the city streets and lanes. Here is their complete list: Gubernatorskaya, Aleksandrovskaya, Novosobornaya, Moscow, Nevoryanskaya, Malobazarna, Mokra, Bazarna, Trading, Jewish, Greek, Petropavlovskaya, Hospital, Tatar, Gypsy, Banny, Meat, Prison, Armsky, Nagorny. Already in this very first list of streets, our attention is attracted to the horns, in the names of which in one form or another have a connection with the history of religions.
