In the context of the development of Kyivan Christianity, the spiritual tradition of East and West was the adoption of the Cyril and Methodius heritage. By that time, the Slavic alphabet had already been created, and some liturgical and legal texts, including the Gospel, the Apostle, the Psalter, the Prayer, the Judgment of the People, and others, had been translated into the Slavic language.
